Portrait of Jon Stine

Jon Stine

Jon’s expertise is at the intersection of shopper behavior, brand strategy, operational execution, and technology – from data to devices.   From 2000-2018 he led industry strategy and consulting practices for the Intel Corporation and Cisco Systems, advising top-tier retailers and CPG brands world-wide as to technology-driven growth opportunities and investment priorities.  In years prior, Jon headed sales for a leading better-priced womenswear apparel brand, working directly with the nation’s largest department and specialty retailers.

In 2016, Jon initiated a partnership with the Auto-ID Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to study the technologies and retail-CPG impact of artificial intelligence-driven voice assistant platforms.   His work with MIT on conversational commerce continues; in addition to his work with The Sprosty Network, he serves as a Research Affiliate at MIT.
